- Seriousness of the game -
The little girl bends down to the ground with one arm and makes a lunging motion with the other as if she is about to throw a ball. She looks straight ahead in concentration. And yet it remains unclear exactly what the child is doing. The fact that we are unable to resolve the movement makes our imitation all the more appealing and makes us pause to observe the childlike earnestness of the game.
